This got me in a chokehold 🫠

I really appreciate this digging into the complexities of this setup and not shying away from how fucked up some of it gets. I love it when people really explore Omegaverse with actual worldbuilding/character development, don't @ me.

Reading this with my background in caregiving for a family member really has me already so invested. I appreciate how it digs into the exhaustion and feeling all the things you can feel in a situation like that (especially if the other family members are assholes to you).

Basically, I feel seen with this manga. 🫠

Idk why this already has me in a chokehold but damn.

And so my re-read begins. This time having way more things to look for and new things to appreciate.

I'm also making a little quest for myself out of tabbing every mention of breasts and every tangent about food. I look forward to seeing how many tabs I use lmao.

So, I had to re-start and re-read everything I read over a year ago, and now I'm further than I've ever been in this book. One I've been trying to read/get to since I was in high school lmao.

It's already better written than most of the stuff I've read in the last few months, and my only real complaint is repeatedly writing out character's full names. Whyyy? Pls stop lol

Already so much better than whatever the fuck Ava Reid was doing with her book.

I think this MC is probably one of the most annoying, obnoxious, and insufferable motherfuckers I've ever read.

I should have DNF'd but I'm determined to review this and bring my fucking receipts when I rip it apart. 😤

I am... not impressed with this. I'm so bored, I can't even enjoy the cozy fall vibes or anything.

This first chapter is truly reminding me of everything I dislike about literary fiction. And it's somehow even more grating when the story is historical. 😮‍💨

This is NOT a good book. Like at all.

SO my review of Age of Scorpius - 2nd one mind you - got taken down. AGAIN. Because I called out the author on deliberately flagging reviews that criticized her.

And now can't post a different review talking about my clearly being censored because it has limited posting for a THIRD TIME. This book or author isn't being bullied. People genuinely hate this book and her behavior. Period.
