I think this MC is probably one of the most annoying, obnoxious, and insufferable motherfuckers I've ever read.

I should have DNF'd but I'm determined to review this and bring my fucking receipts when I rip it apart. 😤

I am... not impressed with this. I'm so bored, I can't even enjoy the cozy fall vibes or anything.

This first chapter is truly reminding me of everything I dislike about literary fiction. And it's somehow even more grating when the story is historical. 😮‍💨

This is NOT a good book. Like at all.

SO my review of Age of Scorpius - 2nd one mind you - got taken down. AGAIN. Because I called out the author on deliberately flagging reviews that criticized her.

And now can't post a different review talking about my clearly being censored because it has limited posting for a THIRD TIME. This book or author isn't being bullied. People genuinely hate this book and her behavior. Period.

So I just got to the part where Good Stab, one of our protags, meets the Cat Man for the first time and every random noise is making me jump.

Which is honestly one of the best markers for a horror book imo.

The only reason I haven't DNF'd is because jumping around and skimming chapters has left me literally missing nothing.

This ain't a romance. At all lmao. There are some straight-up hentai tropes here and that would be totally fine if 1) they were written well (they are not) and 2) this wasn't marketed as being something completely different.
