I am really struggling to finish this. It's boring and generic and predictable. I keep studying instead of reading (the horror!)

Well I’m officially losing interest and am struggling to keep reading. Why? Because if you can’t decide which person to date, none of them are right for you

I’m not really digging this so far and it’s almost over. The characters seem really immature.

So this is the point where I googled the book to find out who it was *actually* written by because the voice and tone is so inconsistent and inauthentic. And it made total sense and I wish he didn’t write it.

I’m so bored that I fall asleep when I think about finishing this. The characters are sooo damn flat and boring. There’s no conflict. Aah I’m bored just writing this.

I’m loving it so far... the dorky adhd apprentice learning sword making from the grouchy Scot. But I fear it’s about to take a bad turn like the first book in the series 🥴

In response to gang rapes by NRL players she argued that they should be educated about escorts and brothels. 🤮🤮🤮🤮 wow, could she have any less understanding of rape? They don’t gang rape because they can’t find someone to have sex with. Or is she arguing that it’s ok to rape prostitutes? I seriously can’t with this book 😐

I’m not digging this so far... she seems like the kind of woman who hates feminists and doesn’t understand any perspective except her own.

So far I’m 2/4 for the books I’ve enjoyed- the Kate Canterbery and the Penny Reid

It’s so one-sided and has so little actual insight on life in Cuba then and now. It reads like an academic decided to write a novel but the parts that make it a story are underwhelming. The romances are so flat. Instalove, compounded by one-sided lectures on Cuban politics. I’m really struggling.

So far I’ve only read Penny Reid’s story- the first two chapters of Cletus and Jenn’s upcoming book. 💕Cletus💕 was typical Cletus and I was loving it, then it was over 😭

I'm finding it so, so hard to get in to.

When "Dr Chef" (possibly the dumbest ever name for a character) ordered a character to not drink more than three cups of tea a day in some weird dumb childish health lecture, I gave up.

Slowly getting more interesting...

I want to like it. But I'm so bored

I'm at that point where I'm waiting for something, anything to happen. It's not looking likely :(
