It's got heart but man, the timing for the exposition is a little rough.

I'm not saying it's good. I'm not saying it's bad. I'm just saying as a bisexual from a small town in Kentucky with religious trauma, I am obligated to love this book.

I am enjoying this but I can't quite tell if it's in honor of HHGttG and Discworld or flying a little too close to those suns.

Do I want to know what happens? Yes. Is it good? Uhhhhhh....

I thought I just wasn’t getting anything from it and then I sat it down and it feels like somebody hit me in the head and heart with a sledgehammer.

DNF, the writing is so bad and the world building is a mess. Great concept though.

Everything I wanted and more. If you sat it’s too cute or too cozy, fuck you.

It’s nice that not everything is going perfectly to plan. While I enjoy competence, too many stories have their heroes be too strong and in no danger. Each page worries me more and more here.

I wish I had read this when I was age appropriate.
