I'll admit I'm not normally an audio book gal unless it's an autobiography. The "voices" in this one, are killing me! None of the characters are likeable. There are two distinct stories--Nora's husband is helpless and Richard is dead. We've made no progress on how Richard died, and Nora is a shrew. Perhaps if I read it, instead of listening, it would be better. So far, this is 2 stars at best.

Very slow start, but I'm glad I stuck with it. Ove was such a downer, and everything bad that could happen to him did. But halfway through the pace picked up.

Whew, finally finished. Enjoyed it, but thought it could have shorter. I felt like it dragged, particularly in the middle.
