10 hrs into a 17 hr audiobook, I’m moving this to DNF. I tried really hard to get into this book, because I’ve previously enjoyed Toibin’s work. But this was just too much of a chore.

This was a great audiobook. The story fictionalization the life of Shakespeare’s only son, Hamnet, and the relationship of his death and the writing of Hamlet. The last few lines just killed me.

As always, a tremendous collection of short stories by Sherman Alexie. My least favorites were in the middle of the book, but I loved the last three (Saint Junior, Dear John Wayne, and One Good Man) so stick with it!

Part 1 was great, but got a bit bogged down early on in part 2 with the technical descriptions around the Ymir maneuver. Re-starting now to see if I like where the story goes.
