Didn't Karen Marie Moning go on to write a mainstream thriller/suspense novel(s) after she was done with the fever series? I seem to remember that, yet I can't find mention of those books anywhere

I'm curious - does anyone know what the most popular genre is right now (barring the blanket term "romance")? I know PNR and UF are no longer so popular, but which genres replaced it at the top of the pile?

I really like that Kelley Armstrong is not afraid to end series and move on to other stories - or give narrative control to other characters so readers can see an expanded perspective. That way she can preserve the integrity of the characters and their stories. I wish many other authors would learn from her.

A little serendipitous thing happened for me today. I randomly remembered a book I'd read where a man and his friend's widow fell in love, with some BDSM elements. I couldn't remember the name and title. But I was going looking at Mara's profile and suddenly - there it was LAUREN DANE! The name niggled at me, so I looked up her book list, and there it was - SECOND CHANCES was the book I'd been thinking about!
