All the passion I had having fun with this book has died. I am forcing myself to the finish line now. It is only partly the books fault, but it is still disappointing

Very excited at the prospect of this being a TV show. It reads like you're watching a good TV show, I can see all the episode beats already. If they do it well it could really be a huge cultural moment like Game of Thrones was.

Very mad that I never read any of these before. They aren't life changing but if someone had told me "it's like verhoeven sci Fi mixed with dark souls" I would definitely have read it before now. Also like there is basically an infinite amount of these books. Impressive in itself just the amount

This book is nasty as hell lol. Definitely going to be arguing in my final review that this is horror that has somehow infiltrated the world of middle age white lit fic like a wolf in sheep's clothing
