Felix and Zelda don't even know eachother and manage to become like siblings witch shows how easy it can be to make friends.

The author used very descriptive language and didn't just use the same words that everyone uses like beautiful. He uses words like cruel to explain the conditions of were the poor people live. He described the tiny huts and the wall on one side of Hu's house and the market on the other. I am very interested to learn more about the ancient china background. i recommend it to people in year 6, 7 and 8.

I am predicting that the people they thought were barbarians was actually a tiger becuase of the skin they found and when i first saw the book i looked at the tiger on the front and assumed it would lead to something in the book.

This connects to me because once i was at bounce and i left my shoes in the locker and they got stolen!!

everything is starting to happen now. Miranders friend got beaten up on the way back from school by a a mean boy just before they got to the laughing man also Miranders mums partner got his shoes stolen!!! this is starting to interested me.

I am really intregied about how the relationships change because now all of a sudden Ren and Hu arent friends because Hu thinks that he is helping Ren a lot but Ren isn't helping him and it isn't fair.

Ren and Hu have entered the arrow contest but Ren got out but Hu has gone through to the final round but then there is a distraction.

This book is really intresting because Hu and Rens relationship changes so much and the relationships with their fathers are vso different

i am really enjoying this book because it started off with nothing happening and now there starting to be a twist
