Well I don’t much like the art but the story is intriguing

What use is Mars breaking up with Natasha if she’s still insufferable as always, maybe even worse, and hasn’t changed a whit?

Natasha deserves somewhat worse than a slap by now.

So far I see no reason to like or pity Margo at all, but I’m gonna give it to 25% before I quit

Audiobook narrator captures El’s voice perfectly! Thoroughly enjoying the third reread

Look, I love Elise Kova’s stories and characters but this is just unforgivably stupid. Luella literally just overheard them say that even though spring seems to have come there’s still a winter chill…yet she muses that the chill must come from elf magic. ARE YA DEAF, GIRL??

Caz scolding them on how to have a conversation 🤣

He’s still an asshole, she’s still an idiot

This narrator is beyond excellent but so far Cara is an inconsistent idiot who is sometimes a coward and sometimes confrontational, and James is an absolute asshole. Plus, all the characters need lessons on communication

I’m not sure why I’m still listening to this

This is starting off really fun 💃

Neve is grumpy and sassy and so far I’m thoroughly loving this

Way wayyy wayyyyy too much rambling and stream of conscious nonsense but the story she fictionally wrote is awesome and I need to know how it ends and how it collides with “reality”. I’m honestly bored every time we switch to Penelope and her idiot friends and coworkers

“I don’t want to be saved, Galya,” she said, voice low. “I’m helping you so I can tear these bells off myself”

So the first 10% I was afraid this was gonna be super boring, then it took off like an airplane and we haven’t touched ground since.
However, this author is one of those that loves to have her characters “not know” that they were holding their breath, have knots in their stomach, and all that nonsense. Just say the knot in her stomach loosened, why is it necessary to say “that she didn’t know was there”

I keep having to take breaks to process because this book is making my head spin in the best way

I love how the legend of Atlantis is twisted into Lethe’s backstory here. Twisted in every sense of the word

“…I have never known anyone brave enough to consider Lethe a…thing to be thunged”
