Feeling too long. This book should be right up my alley with all the libraries, histories, and bookish talk. However it's feeling really long and slow. I can't be sure I even know what the point is.

Super slow. Started off interesting but since then we've moved on to many other things without completing that first thought the author had.

I'm on chapter 9 and literally nothing has happened! For a thriller it's super slow. The characters are juvenile. This feels more like a YA novel than an adult one. And the title so far makes no sense. No one is having dreams of a knife

I've just started this book and I'm already annoyed. There's a line that says "I can pretend I am an American girl like Anne of Green Gables."
Did the author do no research? Anne is Canadian!

I'm confused i thought this was a thriller but now we're into horror aspects?

I know this one has 4 star ratings but I'm having a lot of trouble finishing it. I really don't get why so many people loved it.

So far way too descriptive. Feels like it takes forever to get through a chapter.

Kind of boring

The main characyer makes you cringe constantly. You can't put it down because you feel like you're watching a train wreck.

So far not impressed. Was expecting more from a Giller award winner.

This book sucks.
