Alright Idk how the author did it but the ship has turned around. I’m not saying it’s great but I do want to finish it. The concepts that are being explored with the other mythical creature with teeth (iykyk) are interesting. I love the quicksilver part it is very creative. I so wish the whole of this book was written well.

This book has improved but it feels as though the first 15% is disjointed from the rest of the book. Much of the writing and character dynamics feel forced. I’m disappointed especially since this book got a lot of hype.

This is not the best writing. I’m intrigued but the intro to the story was choppy and has left me wondering about characters you thought we’re important that get left behind in this dramatic shift. I have to say I’m frankly confused so far.

I started out hating this book. Up to like around 18% I was seriously considering quoting but it gets good ratings so I decided to power through. It was like a whole different author took over this book is hilarious and now I can’t stop reading it lol

I couldn’t finish this book. Sorry :(
