Half Book Now. Why I felt that Leander would become the king of his father's kind.

Start getting on fantasy book again! Yay!

Wow, last night I'd been on only page 7xx. The thousand pages, that's brilliant. I see a glimpse of love triangle here. Hopefully, it won't interrupt the main plot much. Relationship between Kaladin and Shallan has a lot of dynamics. I didn't say that it has that much of chemistry, just their banter is funny to read, though. Well, poor Adolin.

Wait, WHAT! Isn't that mean Kaladin had killed Shallan's brother?

Definetely better than the first book, mostly because Shallan's arc is so colorful while Kaladin's arc is not as dry as in the first book. Pacing is also better. As this rate, I could keep reading along and may finished it this week.

Part one finished with my satisfactory. Just hope that the upcoming part won't be dragging like in the first book.

1. Shallan engaged to Adolin? What a joke! But, well, great political maneuver from Jasnah side. 2. I love the fact that even honorspren seemed to leap out from every inch of Dalinar's skin, Kaladin still didn't trust him, which create great dynamics in the plot. 3. Dalinar, since the end of first book, I'd like to see him in full machiavellian leader someday. It might took 5 books to go to that point, though.

God! I stopped reading because the book shift from Shallan's chapter to Kalafin's past which I made me bored. I think I need to skim through until I found a little twist here.... Well done book, I'll proceed now :)

Well, I really like Dalinar. He's what Ned Stark should be. Yet I found his part is too hard to digest :(

Maybe because I haven't read epic fantasy or the book in such length for long time, I know that awesomeness is await beyond. It just need me working hard to get to that part, right?

I don't think foreshadowing in this book could do anything good, really.

Well, as things start to get tense, I think I like an atmosphere the writer weaving here.

I was so silly, I posted status update of this book on Grimms' Fairytale Book.

Whoa! Really?! I read it that fast? I started to reading this again after stop reading at about 80 pages. Then I picked it up and managed to go through 400 pages within 3 days? And it's getting more interesting every pages!

20% of the book to wrapped the ending up? Don't you think it was too much? For me, just 10% is longer than enough.

Yeah, I think I already know that before the half of the story. Very surprising indeed.

It seems like as if the author take every problem in the society and packed them into the story.

I may be slow reader but this is quite exciting!

Sarmak fell into poverty because their trade route was cut off. However, as I'm living in a country that is very wealthy in agriculture, I think the writer make a mistake here. In such kingdom, even if it can't trading with another country, its people would still well-being. Only traders and those who gain benefit from trading are the one who was troubled, but not the lower classes.

So far it was really good :)

The problem is, I hope to see more insightful aspect of Dystopia Roth created than pointless fighting scene. Do I want too much for YA?

Oh! That's very romantic. Lol. I read and just feel that Dauntless is only an inch far from Dumpness.

It's quite entertaining if you ignore all absurdity in world-building.
