So far the author did a great job in me really disliking T.K. Can't see what Seven/Carlos sees in him.
Also, not being American, the whole frat thing seems totally childish and distasteful to me.
The writing is great and from reviews I read the frat scene is rather realistic, so making me dislike the whole thing so much is a sign that the author grabbed me and manipulates my emotions rather well.

I was skirting around this book for a while already because the title sounded fun but also kind of shallow. Boy was I wrong! And I love it. Only got thrown for a moment in the sudden change of POV.

I'm in need for something light-hearted. Hopefully this book was the right choice.

Unfortunately I was right about Brian - I cried my eyes out! I got to like Mark a tad more because first time there was something that endeared him to me (his show of how much he loves Brian and his hunt for Robbie).

I'm afraid I'm one of the few who won't like this book. The MC Mark is a short tempered foul mouthed guy I didn't warm to yet. I don't know from where he got the notion of beeing the big caretaker whom everybody sucks dry. I can't see it. Antonio is plain weired. Love Brian though, so sweet. I'm only afraid he'll be killed of soon. Yeah, and the swear words got WAY overboard, it's annoying.

She had me voting for Ryan and Sara from the for page!

Bianca is an annoying brat, I really don't like her much. She's also pretty unreasonable. Coming to a country she does not know and her only goal is to realize her dream this second. She has a ten month countdown she could use far more reasonable! After ten month she can do whatever she wants but instead of using this to her advantage she's behaving like an idiot.

I can't help myself but I do not really like Bianca and I'm not sure about Virgil. And the mystery thing is to vague. Hope it's getting better.

So, I'm on my one week trip to Rome and apart from the holidays I'm looking forward to finally read this book!!!

Madeline Hunter is fantastic with medievals! I have not read another author who is quit so capable to describe medieval times so realistic. It's raw, it's dangerous it's a far from romantic life (and I bet she comes very close to reality). And she writes an intoxicating story.Again. And would I have know that this is a loose sequel to By Arrangement and The Protector it would not have rested so long on my TBR pile...

Yes, it became better. The analogy with Cinderella has been lucky dimmed down.

Currently I'm a bit dissapointed. I knew it's a modern Cinderella story but until know there is nothing new to it. I hope she'll come up with a good twist to to the story! Oh, but she managed to make Benedict absolutely swoon worthy during these first few chapters - sight

What a rollercoaster of emotions! If only work wouldn't interfer all the time with reading X-)

After a really funny part which had me laughing out loud over several pages I currently would gleefully help Kate shred Anthony into small pieces. In such situations I always think that it's impossible to bring them together now. I really admire authorer who are able to pull this off. And I trust in Julia Quinn and I'm looking forward to to it.
