A twisting an challenging story- but I could not stop listening. I think the readers of the audio book made it even more engaging. There are triggers, so please proceed with caution. Four stars only because the triggers made it challenging.

Just as charming now as when I read it in middle school

This is a good story, but it is need of some editing. It randomly changes POV - sometimes you are told, sometimes you are not, and it may or may not be at chapter change. That makes for a very jarring story that could easily be smoothed. There are several typos (or grammatical errors). To instead of too, missing letters and I corrected spelling. Chapter 41 includes a section that is repeated as chapter 42.

Well written, engaging story that makes you think - is this a potential?
