So disappointed so far.

I put off reading this because after acheron's book I didn't think I could ever card or like Styx, but omg I really should have known better. I hate Acheron a little bit now and I despise Rissa. Poor Styx,his life is almost horrific as ash's

Telling a victim's family extactly how they were murdered? Oh,come on, really?

I really wanted to like this, but I'm already having a hard time with it. A lot of small technical things, like detectives in skirts and heals, drinking and driving a police vehicle, and bringing a civilian to a death notification...uh, no. Also, references to the "southern California bible belt," is that a thing? And then, or course, the stereotypical intolerant born again christian reference.

I'm really surprised by how much I'm liking this, which is saying a lot since I usually cannot read a book written in first person. I dislike first person immensely and it usually detracts from the story for me, but not in this case.
