Yes, I am actually reading this. I don’t know why it says I’m 4% in. I’ve gotten further than that.

This chapter shows everything wrong with our higher ed. system. Cheated by a for-profit “college,” 100,000 in debt, no degree, waiting tables: it makes me sick.

I’m incredibly excited to be reading Deborah Blum’s new book. Her The Poisoner’s Handbook is one of my favorites.

I'm enjoying it quite a lot so far. All of these are interesting sci-fi/fantasy reimaginings of fairytales, but of course I was going to have a special place in my heart for little red riding hood.

Just starting my journey, and enjoying it quite a lot! You can see some slight Harry Potter-ish-ness, but it's clearly used as an inspiration and as a jumping off point, with its own unique setting, characters, and ways of coexisting with the non-magical world. I'm trying to be good with my real work, but it's awfully tempting.

I just finished The One (The selection Book 3).
