Very complicated for me because I knew next to nothing about the time period being reviewed. For MY purposes, this could have been condensed, but I’m sure students of this time period appreciates his detail. Published in 2005 before Trump, it’s quite the cautionary tale.

Possibly the worst book I’ve ever read. The recipes are nice but that is its only redeeming quality. It was so bad I read through the end, only to have my worst fears confirmed. Lame. Not that I could do any better!
