Excellent book. Expertly reported, very readable, but also very dense with information. Really informs you about the reality of the experience of the war in Afghanistan.

Huh, the US government and judges being in the pocket of big business. In the 1890s. Who woulda thunk it.

Really Enjoyable Read. Extremely well written. Like a 300 page sport feature. I will say that the middle drags a tiny only because the stories of the prep-to-pro basketball players are all very similar. Highly recommended for basketball nerds.

Great book but had to put it down for election season. Going to restart once the next person gives his speech.

Good book but I learned this year that most education writing isn’t for me. I can’t do jargon.

Jargony but really good. Should be required reading.

This book made me realize that John Hodgeman is one those cultural things that I've been a fan of for basically forever and always forget about. It's the same with the band Iron and Wine too. I always forget I love IAW.I grew up reading JH's fun/silly earlier books and he was part of the Daily Show when I watched it every day. Book was a nice little read too. Nice short meditation on life by an interesting writer.

I have no excuse for never reading this previously.

Yeah. Whatever. I'm seeing the movie tonight. I got all high and mighty on this book I read it the first time, turns out it's pretty sweet.
