Cathy Wacksman is starting Cold Sassy Tree
It started slow and did hook me right away but when Granpa Blakeslee recited his version of god, I agree right along with him

Cathy Wacksman is on page 365 of 720 of Men of Men (The Ballantyne Novels, #2)
This book is a little bit slower than some of Wilbur Smiths’ Africa saga but I’m so involved with the vast family members I have to read every single one. They start in the 1600’s and now I’m in the post Civil War.

This is a well written, amazing story of a real lady, Nancy Wake, who was the most wanted by the Gestapo.

Cathy Wacksman is starting Aztec (Aztec, #1)
I like this book well enough to keep reading but it is over 1,000 pages fonts taking longer to read it. The author seems to be very knowledgeable about the historical aspects. There is shocking ways to kill victims and this has permeated my dreams. 😮

Cathy Wacksman is reading The Stranger from the Sea (Poldark, #8)
This 8th book of the Poldark series wasn’t as engrossing as the previous one. For example, I’ve learned much more about coal mining in Cornwall in the early 1800’s than I care about but I can’t wait to start book #9.

It has been 12 days and I'm not making good progress. I still have 600 more pages to go. I think it will be worth it in the end.
