Leah Jane is on page 28 of 496 of Plague Wars: The Terrifying Reality of Biological Warfare
Physically ill after reading about the biological experiments carried out in Japan during the World War era. It just goes to show how much the history books don't tell us.

The Boogeyman: Well, closets are another no go for me now. King is a master at crafting the slippery, nameless thing that might reach out and grab your ankle if it dangles off the bed.

The Mangler: Gee whiz, this one is a heart stopper. I've never been one for "living" machines, but King's Mangler scared the ever-loving crap out of me. I won't be setting foot in any industrial laundries any time soon.

I Am The Doorway: Well, hello, unease. I was wondering when you'd show up. This one was creepy in all sorts of ways, and though I'm not necessarily fond of aliens, I am very fond of King's twist on something brought back from the cosmos.

Night Surf: A nice little bit of philosophical melancholy in the midst of King's masterful horror. It's thought-provoking and just creepy enough to make your bones shiver a little in your skin.

Graveyard Shift: though it wasn't as breathtakingly chilling as Jerusalem's Lot, it didn't disappoint with it's eerie scenery and sickened, bloated prose. I'm never going to look at rats the same way again.

Jerusalem's Lot: I must say, this short story kicks the ass of any and all other stories like it. It was so creepy and chilling. The writing itself also surpasses; the dark beauty and lyrical tone of the story will leave it imprinted on my mind for some time.
