Aw Haymitch and Maysilee

Suzanne Collins is outdoing herself, and we’re not even in the arena yet. Poor Lou Lou. So excited to see Effie. And Maysilee is just the best.

Okay this book is gonna break my heart…I know why Haymitch later calls Katniss “sweetheart” and it’s killing me 🥺🥺🥺

Thoughts on re-read of book 2 so far:
-the voices for Cass and Az are not at all accurate
-loving the Rhys Feyre chemistry
-the Summer Court is amazing

On chapter 11 now.
Thoughts about under the mountain:
-I’m so conflicted about Rhys’s behavior.

Chapter 7 audio re-read update:
-Tam is actually so good for letting Feyre go
-I love Nesta here. Unable to be glamoured. What a queen.
-Finally get the truth about the curse from Alice

Chapter 5 update:
-Calanmai is disturbing
-RHYS ENTRANCE 🫶🏻⭐️
-I’ve forgotten so much of this stuff!

Chapter 4 re-read thoughts:
-Tamlin is so sweet and kind here that it’s weird to know what happens later with him
-Poor Lucien 💔🥺
-That scene with the fairy was so sad in graphic audio format

Thoughts on chapter 3:
-the voice actors are so good
-okay some of these Tan/Feyre scenes are actually sweet
-the sound effects of Tamlin growling and Lucien’s eye whirring are sending me
-Feyre thirsting after Tamlin is somewhat nauseating

Thoughts on Chapter 2 of the dramatized audiobook:
1. Say what you want about the spring court but it sounds so lovely
2. Ohhh sassy Lucien how I miss you 🥺🫶🏻 valid crashouts at Feyre too. I forgot she literally killed your friend
3. Tamlin, just stop talking
4. Feyre you sweet child trying to come up with an escape plan…

Doing a reread of the entire series before the next book comes out. This graphic audiobook version is very cool. One thing I noticed this reread is that so much of what Nesta does makes more sense now after having read the whole series. Also, why is Tamlin barging into the Archeron house as a beast so embarrassing? One thing that hasn’t changed for me: Elaine is useless and annoying 😅 On to chapter two!

I love Ishiguro’s writing style so much.

I’m amazed.. my ghast is flabbered…the end of Old Jim’s part in the book was one of the most beautiful things I have ever read. The Rogue and The Tyrant ❤️❤️🥺🥺 I love these connections to the other books and how it’s all coming together. Love. Adore. Need to reread the whole series. Excited to see how part 3 goes.

This book series is going to live rent free in my head forever…

I can never predict where this is going.

Reading this with the movie soundtrack is so unnerving.
