First audiobook since high-school and the narration is enthralling. I've steered clear of audiobook since I've always preferred reading the words myself, but I realize now that I love being read to! Especially by a voice as rich and emotive as Euan Morton's.

The storytelling is so vivid. Pausing to read more about the 1973 Thai popular uprising.

Edward Said's more in-depth elaboration of Césaires thesis with respect to

Loved the short story in How Long Til Black Future Month, but I've struggled through this novel for years. DNF for now; not sure when I will return to it.
