Not sure how I feel about the “mutual” attraction between a 28 year old and her 70 year old boss 😅 also I wonder why the authors keep trying to paint JP Morgan as “trying to do what’s best for the country” and writing him in as an affable and harmless boss who cares more about books than money… it could be historically accurate but I find hard to believe

First reactions: too many adjectives and adverbs! I wonder if it’s because there are two authors and they were trying to include everything both writers wanted to say, but I’ve already read several passages like “her long, silky navy skirt” and “they were unreasonably proud of him” and “curly unruly dark hair.” I think it waters down the text.

Very religious so far and sometimes “woo woo” for me - surprising considering the author insists they are agnostic!
