Well, paraphrasing "natural born killers", this couple was natural born marauders, and I don't know if they are more cute or revolting.

And I don't believe the parents of those kids weren't rising hell, not having contact with their children for months.

It doesn't make sense. Why didn't the authorities send at least one helicopter to check if everything was all right? What if someone needed urgent medical help, like having appendicitis or something? Hell, they could've dropped a package with a bunch of cheapest cell phones so that there was a connection; there was cell coverage, the employees just didn't have their cells.

I enjoy it a lot but it really irks me how everyone keeps referring to 23-25-year-olds as "kids" and "children". When are young people old enough to be considered adult nowadays? At 30? 35?

Okay, this is kinda good (crossing my fingers).

"...a modern take on Lord of the Flies meets Battle Royale..." I'm very sceptic about books that are advertised like that. But maybe this one will work. Nah, it probably won't.

Oh sure. The evilest underground association of evil people is holding a Christmas Eve event; and our characters just happen to get an invite to it. No, I know it's a normal plot twist for a thriller; even for a mainstream horror. That's why I'm reading extreme horror - to be spared this kind of bullshit. Unforgivable!

Whaaaaat?! It turns out the hero's forgotten he witnessed his friend being raped and murdered, and now he's being hypnotized and recalls that the rapist conveniently introduced himself during the rape by name AND surname, and he turns out to be the hero's acquaintance! Dafuq.

Will I ever finish this book...

This book is disgusting. So rape is okay because he enjoyed it in the end? I wish I didn't read it so late at night.

The reviews say it doesn't get any better. I'll shelve it for now, maybe one day I'll be in the mood to read a book where nothing happens.

Look, Ryckard was very ready to bring in Vorgon to be slowly tortured to death in exchange for gold. So, how am I supposed to feel the slightest sympathy towards him now when he's in deep shit? I don't want him rescued, I don't want Vorgon to help him. The asshole deserves what he gets.

Really? Really? Would YOU like some guy to whom you reapeatedly said that you hated him to sneak into your bed and start molesting you while you're asleep? Would you? But for some reason it's okay if them are two guys. Disgusting.

Mr. Lee steps his game up with each story. Each one is more disgusting and insane than the previous one. What's not to love? :)
