A rare science fiction book that isn't buried in techno-speak. It's all about the characters with lovely pacing. I can get a little confusing at times but stick with it.

A very disappointing read. I kept expecting something interesting to happen but it never did. Just a long, sometimes choppy, description of life in the 1300s as seen by an odd collection of time traveling "scientists".
