If I could review this book, at the 10% mark, it would be maudlin. Seems like it was written by a person not in a good place.

Enjoyable collection of short stories. The story about the counting of legs on signs was fun, if the ending was a little forgone. Not sure if this is a required read if you want to read just the bare chronological exploits of Gord.

Listened to the audio version on Librivox. Always fun to see what people thought the future would be like. Crazy "science."

Stories ranged from good to incomprehensible, ended up not making it all the way through this book.

Quick read left me looking forward to more Spirit books.

Digital copy had really annoying annotations, maybe I'll read another copy.

Is this a great book and probably a great series, yes. Will I be reading it past page 82, no.
