The style is very poetic. Very organic. It feels nostalgic, like everything happening is part of a daydream, which I really identify with in the main character. I also really love how it's so tied in to it's setting.

Slightly underwhelming unfortunately. But it's been a while since I picked it up so I should give it another go.

I love how he comments on things so far... He has really insightful things about being a perfectionist, practicing for a really stressful event, and mostly the nature of humour, which is probably unsurprising. But rather than just being a funny book, it's not afraid to stray from that and get deep... I really love it.
