So far this seems to be about an insufferable prick who is likely also a pedo, so I'm not loving it! But I really liked To Paradise so I'll hang in there!

Bruh this book is WAY too wordy....460 pages before there is any overt reference at all to the rape and murder that is the subject of the book 😵‍💫

Every chapter so far is basically pointless meandering which has nothing to do with anything, ended with "then I found this painting that changed my life, oh boy wait till you guys hear about this amazing life-changing painting!" followed by more pointless meandering about nothing.
