This is my third attempt with this book (it's a me problem, not a problem with the book). "You just got Jerseyed!" has destroyed me again.

Koen uses curse words like someone whose only reference for curse words is Beavis and Butthead.

This book is full of typos. Wrong character names, wrong planet names. I'm trying to push through because I really like this series, but every time it happens, I'm ripped out of the story.

This is so upsetting and I love it.

I don't want this to end! 🙁

My only complaint about this book is that it's 200 pages too short and when I'm finished I will be sad until the next book comes out.

I didn't know that a couple who were solidly together could generate so much angst. But go off.

My only beef with Natalie Haynes is that her books aren't longer.

Ciara's childhood is hitting me right in the autism. She doesn't read as autistic, but her mother's frustration with her "weirdness" and the desperate need to "fix" her does.

Plague, betrayal, murderous power grabs, usurpation of power... It's almost like we aren't capable of learning from the past.

I like this book. I have a lot of big feelings. But it's just occurred to me that the title of this book so far doesn't match what's going on. Unless there's a double meaning I'm not aware of yet.

This book is fun, but the typos and character name errors are frequent and pull me right out of the story.

I feel like it's a little late in the narrative to introduce portal hopping Hitler, but go off, Mark Lawrence.

2025 is a wild, yet entirely appropriate time to be reading this.
