Oh this book just got weird in a way I wasn't expecting.

This book is wild and more people need to read it.

One of the things I appreciate about this book is that it doesn't waste my time with characters who don't know they're in a sci-fi story. Or characters who disbelieve in the supernatural. They experience a thing and take it at face value.

I'm actually having fun with this!

I need to stop reading this before it starts getting dark. I know I keep asking, but why do I continue to scare the shit out of myself?

I'm not even done yet and I'm going to have to sleep with the lights on for the rest of my life. Why do I do this to myself?

The Caretaker scared the shit out of me. So I guess I'm coming back for more?

This scared the shit out of me like very few things ever have. It's bleak. Big Cabin at the End of the World Vibes, but it's own whole thing. Loved it.

So far one of the most informative books I've ever read, period. But also one of the most rage inducing.

I'm listening to the audio on libro dot fm and Cory Doctorow is so Canadian. I love it.

I've been dragging ass finishing this because I like spending time with these characters and I don't want to leave them.

Ernest Cunningham is deeply mentally unwell and Juliet needs to walk away and never look back.

I would like the next book to be called Everyone At This Intervention Has a Point.

It's been a long time since I've so desperately wanted a book that I bought and started reading it on its release date.

This might be my first favorite read of 2026.

I don't really know what's going on and I don't care. I'm here for the ride.

This is one of the slowest moving stories I've ever read. I get the idea of laying groundwork. But I hope the payoff is worth it.

Is everyone in this universe a complete asshole?
