i’ll be honest, i was remembering how much i enjoyed “the child thief” when i decided to read this, and so i straight up ignored the actual summary. it’s not for me.

hmmm i don't think there's actually meant to be a ~twist~ bc it's pretty obvious from literally the second chapter. but we're still having a good time here. 🙏

every book in this series has had me bursting into tears at least once so… yeah this makes sense.
