This book packs so much information into each chapter it can be a struggle to read, but it is absolutely worth it. Khalidi adds personal context that helps ground the dense information into reality.

Look if I was lost in the first book, I am even more lost now. Wtf is happening????

After seeing Oppenheimer I started reading American Prometheus. I was not very far into it before I started getting a bad taste in my mouth and stopped reading, deciding to search for books that look at the impacts of nuclear weapons on the victims, particularly indigenous peoples and labourers. So here we are.

I have never been this uncomfortable reading a book in my life.
