So far I hate every single person in this book including the narrator.

I’m reading the actual paper book, but honestly, I can see why it was audio exclusive for so long. I could totally vibe with this on a road trip.

I have determined, in the three seconds I’ve known him, that the MMC is slightly autistic. Got that autism swag the ladies love.

Never doubt Cara Bastone’s ability to make you cry over something seemingly insignificant. The depth of each character (main and side) is so impressive. Not even done and already a 10/10.

I was unsure about the plot from reading the back, but once again I am swept away by Cara’s quirky character narration and can’t put it down. Never doubt!

Why is Fin described as muscular? He’s a scientist and full time uncle for crying out loud! Either let him be soft or give us a mention of fitness.

Re-reading this. love Jillian Meadow’s writing, lol. First page, Millie goes from saying “the old man in white sneakers” to “the living fossil” in less than a page over an almond croissant. “Put us in an arena to battle for the last one”. GIRL
