This book is so freaking good!

I wish I liked this book more than I currently am. I can see the Addie LaRue threads, but Miriam and Cybil and this particular Faustian bargain are not keeping my interest as characters nearly as much. Still a bit to go, so hopefully it picks up.

This is giving the same atmospheric vibes and imagery as Tenderly, I Am Devoured. You can feel the mist and clouds and isolation. Love it 🖤.

This book is about to become my whole personality. Kadeesha and Malachi are absolute fire, and the story and pacing and everything are fantasy and romance perfection. This is enemies to lovers at its finest, and the two MCs are not afraid to do what they need for the safety of their people. This will definitely be in my list of top fantasy books, I can tell (and I'm not even done yet).

I am still not sure what I think about this one. Doing a tandem read/listen, and I do like the narrator. The story… so far I have way more questions than answers regarding the set-up.

I am loving the William POV ♥️.
