For the record, I love Gaius. Also, Tuff is the cutest little creature ever! And that last chapter, wow, that was brutal.

I’m really enjoying this book! It’s like a breath of fresh air and the descriptions and world building are so pretty! Sometimes the author does overuse some descriptors, but it doesn’t bother me too much. I’m really seeing this book as setting up the world and plot for future books which can sometimes be annoying, though I’m really enjoying the slower pace and just getting to experience the world.

Found out that what was on the back of the cover was about the author and was not the book’s summary… *sigh* So no, this is not a biography, it’s a novel. My bad. Overall, this book needs a lot of editing and it’s not really my cup of tea, but it does have some interesting stuff.

1. This book almost made me cry because of the horse Bartholomew.

2. This book is almost a Cinderella retelling. I don't remember the last book being a retelling. Not that I'm complaining though, really enjoying this one. =)
