The story is ok, the characters are not as likable for me. Or maybe it's the story and the characters. I don't know what it is exactly but I can not read this book for more than 10 minutes at a time.

It seems I can not find this tale interesting. I keep thinking at some point the story will pick up but I have not reached that point yet. It's a pick up and put down type of situation.

I am really enjoying the journey of this book. However, Violet has been a tad bit annoying and bratty the last few chapters. Sometimes I wish she would just shut the fuck up and listen to Tairn and anyone. Okay she is smart, but she doesn't not have fighting expierence. UGH!! I'm just saying.

Oh yeah, and there are a lot if funny scenes. God, people think I'm crazy when I bust out laughing in public for no reason.

Ok so around chapter 19 things start to pick up..and now at chapter 26 we are getting some action. I can tell you that Lucy is my problem with this book...she is the typical dumb chick that doesn't listen.

Calvina is 15% done with The Night Bird (Frost Easton, #1)

Its taking me way to long to read this book. Im on chapter 8 and there has bern nothing of intrest to me yet. The book opens with what appears to be a suicide.and I guess that was supposed to intrigue me...but it didn't. The way is was written seems elementary and the tone was just not right.

I have left this book and read to others. But In any case i must finish what ive started.

I figured out who Keenen was like 20 chapters ago. I thought Elias was suppose to be smart and he still hasn't put it together. I know Laia is a coward trying to find the lioness within but I didn't think she was just plain stupid. I am so frustrated right now....and I can't believe she slept with Keenen.
