C68: Rhysand’s POV - phew, it was only the bargain that was broken and not their mating bond. I love Amren for being passionate and wanting to save Feyre. Ah! Them getting married secretly was romantic. The first High Lady of any court.

C67: Thank goodness they were able to escape! I was wondering how they were going to survive since there was no way out and they were surrounded. I hope that something goes wrong with the queens’ transformation because they do not deserve anything good.

C66: Feyre was quick with her decision and I’m so glad that the Inner Circle knew her enough to know that it was all a ploy. Of course Tamlin would believe it. How is the king powerful enough to break the mating bond? That would make him stronger than Rhysand.

C65: Hybern’s king knows how to speak to appeal to people. He’s cunning and ruthless. The trap he set was perfect and he got them exactly how he wanted. Can’t believe that he even has Ianthe on his side. Stupid Tamlin for not seeing this. I know it’s bad that Feyre’s sisters got turned, but I’d still be glad that they’re alive. Lucien and Elain being mates seems off, but we’ll see how it goes.

C64: I'm drained. The king planned this whole coup so well. I'd be impressed if I wasn't sneering at him being the enemy. How can Tamlin be that stupid. Even Lucien can see it and tried to get his attention. I pray that Feyre's power is beyond being controlled by the King and can use it to get all of them back to safety.

C63: That's it! Tamlin and Lucien are on my hit list. There is no redemption after this. I swear, Azriel better live through this. I'm so mad, I'd throw my book across the room, but good thing I don't want to ruin it.

C62: Stupid, stupid. I was nervous that they were going to be found because it was trap. However, it was Feyre's bad decision that they failed. Even if it was the book hypnotizing her, still a bad decision. No one better get hurt or die in the next chapter!

C61: I was waiting for something bad to happen. As if Hybern already knew of their plan and was going to ambush them. I'm still on edge.

C60: My favorite quotes from this chapter: "I need you protecting me from our enemies with your water-wolves," - as to say that she is powerful enough to protect him. "So I won my wedding ring without even being asked if I wanted to marry you," - just him hoping that she really is the one.

C59: The Attor's death was so satisfying. They should get rid of the queens when they get the chance. They don't care about their own people. They don't deserve to rule over the mortal world.

C58: I KNEW IT!! Those freaking queens. How dare they side with Hybern. For what?! Protection? Wealth? So disappointing, and the poor golden queen. But dang, just the 3 of them were able to hold off the invading hoard. Kinda in awe and fear at how powerful they are. Then comes Feyre with all her powers. So anxious for her to get to the Attor before he tells the king what he has seen.

C57: I was moved to tears by Cassian's vow. Then the letter from the golden haired queen. So much is resting on that darn book that you can feel the despair from all of them. What scares me also is the queen's note about not trusting the others. What if the others are faithful to Hybern? It will be them reveals Velaris. Also lying that they stole the book wouldn't work. It's known it had to be given freely.

C56: That last sentence, "As we went to show the queens the secret they'd all suffered so much, for so long, to keep," is not sitting well me. It's foreboding and something is going to happen to Velaris. I have a feeling.

C55: Can it get any more romantic than this?! The whole chapter got me all giddy. Just happy for them, but more so for Rhysand. To finally be with his mate, knowing that she wanted him also. Through everything - no one is more deserving of love than him.

C54: Wow. Hearing Rhysand's whole story was heartbreaking. Losing everyone, your mate loving someone else, stuck in a life you hated - and still his selflessness prevailed. He's been looking for her for years! Had that bond with her since she painted the night sky. Gosh darn I love this story.

C53: First off, why was she there for 5 days instead of 3? Anyways, at least it gave her the time to reflect on herself. The dream of her future sounded happy. She never once did that with Tamlin, I think. I really hope that that was Rhys knocking on the door, no one else can get to the cabin.

C52: Brave of Feyre to just start painting the whole house without permission. If it was just Rhys's, I think it would be okay, but it's also Mor's. She takes you to her family's retreat and you do that? Then you realize that you threw a little tantrum and shouldn't have reacted they way you did. A bit annoying on her part.

C51: I like Mor, and she knew since Feyre's 1st day in the Night Court. I knew there was something odd about her comment when she observed Rhys and her that day, when she threw her shoe at him. Kinda weird to give her 3 days when there's a war brewing and the enemy was on their land.

C50: Is there only 1 Suriel? Out of all the places, its still the same one. It's not like it was following her. I figured Rhys knew since their last meeting in ACOTAR that she was his mate. From the outside, I don't see why Feyre is making a big deal about it, but I do understand where's coming from. Feeling the same about how she was treated in the Spring Court - not being told anything, hiding information.

C49: I was scared for Rhys. For all those ash arrows to hit him, that he did not die. Although I guess the king would have wanted to keep him alive. Scary still that they have the upper hand in the war since its been planned for years. The small detail about the dresser was interesting. I never questioned it in ACOTAR, but it was a nice detail tying the two of them together.

C48: Love! Love! Love this chapter! I'm happy that not everything was done at once, especially in that setting. It was cute though and we knew something was going to happen between the two of them, but that was still intense. Rhysand has a way with his words. A man after my own heart.

C47: Phew! That was so close. Feyre was smart to use her shape-shifting abilities to become Illyrian. To voice out how she felt and really let Lucien understand how he failed her as a friend. They all probably still think that Rhysand got into her mind somehow, but I hope that this doesn't put a dent in their plans.

C46: Oh no! How the heck did Lucien and them get all the way there to the Illyrian mountains?! I never thought I would see him appear in this book. Now I'm all nervous about what's going to happen.

C45: I'm disliking Tamlin more and more as I learn about his past. Especially what he did to Rhysand's family. He is either a coward or a monster. Like Feyre, there is no way that the two can ever be compared. Rhysand stands out amongst the crowd. Now we see the strength in the different powers that Feyre possesses. She'll be a great asset during the war.

C44: Oh kill me now with this taut sexual tension. This love story is way better than hers and Tamlin. Their sweet innocence of laughter and smiles tugs at the heart. Gets you all giddy for the two lovebirds, even if they haven’t said that word to each other yet. Just imagining that scene on the balcony during Starfall was funny.
