the audiobook narrator is fantastic!

I’m pretty sure I know exactly where this is going and I’m going to be so disappointed if I’m right

this book reminds me of classic adventure fantasy. it feels very familiar, yet not unoriginal. i’m really enjoying it so far!

This may be my favorite read of the year so far

Didn’t realize this book was a collection of the whole Silo Saga! Already past the point of the tv show’s season 1 finale 😯

not sure what I’m missing, but I’m almost done with this book and I’m pretty sure there’s been almost zero magic. how is this fantasy?

If I took a shot every time he refers to Friends as “the greatest/biggest show of all time” or himself as “one of the most famous actors at the time” I would be dead

okayyyy this whole time i thought I had this whole book figured out but that twist ending actually has me SHOOK

16 hours in and still chugging along! The audiobook is saving me - I could never get through the actual book version

Okay the main character’s name is Jess and one of the side characters is literally named Nick Miller…. is this an intentional New Girl reference or…?

this book is really breaking my heart for the people of north korea. I cannot even fathom the hardships that they endure.

everybody needs to read this book

okay why does the guy seem, like, VERY flirty with Nora from the beginning? I thought this was supposed to be an enemies-to-lovers trope but he seems super into her from the get-go. Still enjoying the book, but it’s throwing me off. I don’t buy that they dislike each other at all.

I don’t think I’ve ever hated a villain character so much that I actually have a visceral reaction 😡

so far the real John Nash is a lot less likable than the movie version

how did I just realize that this is not based on a true story…

this is actually incredibly cute and compelling so far

I think this might actually be the most frustrating plot I’ve ever read
