I thought I would hate this. I hate trauma porn. I hate crime anything. I'm so surprised that I'm loving this. Instead of focusing on the trauma porn this book focuses on the dead and her afterlife. The witchy parts help too. The actual writing style is superb.

On page 74 Theo tells about how their parents love art but Theo just doesnt care about art.how prestige art is their parents shop talk and they get bored of it. This is how I feel about wine and food talk. I could care less if wine tastes like a saddle. But do go on. And on. And on . Ohhh yee gods it goes on and on

The personality of the leading character changes 3 times in one page. Which makes it about 700 personalities so far. She comes across as a naive belligerent 14 year old.

My book club tends to send a part 2 when we never read part 1. I hate that. This book is pretty good at updating the reader. Yet not interesting enough to make me want to stop reading and start part one first. Cute train ride fluff so far

You know those people that make you beg for information. They say things like , "The other day I did this thing with this gal at that place and stuff happened." So you're supposed to say what thing, where, with who etc etc . So it takes 4 hours to get one sentence resolved. That's this book. Pages like 197 make me like this book. Then we have 40 characters to keep track of and I start growing weary of it all

There are so many characters and they all have 6 letters in their name. I finally started a list because I just couldn't care enough to memorize them. Im at 30 and I didn't start the list until page 100.
