To be fair to the book I haven’t been paying that much attention but from where I think we are now, I don’t see how there’s 40% left.
That being said I do like the characters and will always enjoy a perfectionist woman realising she doesn’t have to please everyone all the time (micro?)trope

If the whole book had been like the last 25% I’ve read I would have flown through this

I love all the Beatles references and the humour in this but I have a deep sense of dread about how this is going to end

This is my favourite book of the year so far

If only I didn’t have a job, or an exam to study for, or a flat to pack because all I want to do is read this. The pop culture references fit so seamlessly into the narrative it feels like reading Gilmore Girls whilst also poking fun at books that aim to give you that feeling. The prologue essentially describes each dream harbour book which is impressive as this was pre dream harbour being published
