This is a later book in the Inspector Erlendur series, set when Erlendur is still a young traffic cop. He takes us back in time several decades to an earlier Reykjavik when glam rock was popular and the city less built up. But just as crazy a night life.

Saw this in the New Book section of the library,,,could not resist. So far, funny, and most informative.

This is my new in the car audio book read. It was on my "to read" list for a while, so when I was looking for a new audio book my long commutes, I saw this on the library shelf and snatched it up. So far it is interesting, but the first few chapters is a history of medicine, Johns Hopkins, and scientific advances in medical practice and research around the world prior to the great flu outbreak of 1918.

I started reading this a while ago when visiting my mother-in-law in New Hampshire. She had the book out on loan, so when I saw this in the library I snagged it to finish. Julia Child was a fascinating and very progressive woman.

This is an incredibly beautiful book...painful, agonizing, frustrating, and beautiful. Full review should be coming in a few days.

This is a fascinating book. I am itching to map this journey through the world of salt...where it was produced, ship, controlled, fought over, and revered. And the recipes and discussions of food in this book...amazing.

The book begins with a fast paced tale that kept my interest. I finished the second tale which included some highly imaginative dirigible creation.

Done.

Done.

This is my in-car audio book listen. I decided to try this since I have two 45 minute communtes each day, not to mention other long random rides.

My big heavy, lovely, "real book" I am savoring slowly. Love the maps in it...and there are way more than 12 of them.

Saw this in the New Fiction section of the library, and grabbed it while I could. Now I have to finish it in 2 weeks...that's all they let you have new books out for at a time...and NO renewals.
