Her description at the scene of the garden of olives is amazing. She imagines the apostles, saying to each other that they have nothing to fear because sources told them that Jesus would not be arrested during the same time as the celebrations. Then they would be critical of our Lord saying they had left everything behind to follow him and what will they do when he is killed and they are left with nothing.

Synodality is a "dynamic process” that starts from the assumption that one must build a new "constitutive synodal dimension" of the Church by changing its structure and magisterium. An "inverted pyramid" … in an endless consultation process with the entire "People of God." During this crescendo of "consultations," they would make institutional and doctrinal changes to adapt the Church to the new times. IL June23

Synod organizers call for the widest possible listening:
“it is important for the baptized to hear the voices of other people in their local context, including people who have left the practice of the faith, people of other faith traditions, people of no religious belief, etc. ... those who rarely or never practice their faith, those who experience poverty or marginalization, refugees, the excluded.”

There is general indifference. Will the Synodal Way promoters interpret this indifference properly? Will they realize that they are playing their ball game to empty bleachers?
