idk i'm finding the prose incredibly cringe..

if goodreads says i rated a HP book 5 stars TWAS A MERE ACCIDENT I DID NOT TO THAT

rereading sally rooney has filled a rooney shaped hole inside of me that i’ve realised no one else could fill

tis the season to reread sally rooney x

so apparently GR introduced half stars and quarter stars, so this is really gonna fuck up my life for the foreseeable future

i thought i’d have an insane two week bender after turning in my dissertation (second one on nabokov now, i’ve let that man traumatised me twice), immediately after i vowed i was never reading anything again (i didn’t even mean it in the moment of course, but i thought the fatigue would last at least a week), but sometimes a girl just wanna chill at home, play cozy games, and reread sally rooney

i think i've solved ada?

struggling through this, the writing isn’t the best, even among other EH books

tf kinda name is wyn??

instead of logging the books i'm actually reading, i'm logging the books i should be reading so i can gaslight myself into reading them.

"I could replace the diseased hearts of the rich with the healthy hearts of poorer folk, and make a lot of money, But I have all the money I need and it would be unkind to lead millionaires into such temptation."

listening to the audiobook (read by the author with music by Martin Hayes) alongside the book with photographs by Steve Pyke, there's three? four? senses going on at the same time, waiting for an evening play i arrived too early to, nothing else to do, this is the life frfr

i legit forgot most of the raunchy parts in this book within 2 months of last reading it, was it a trauma response?/j

the cixous part was fine, the derrida part is confusion :)

i do so much unloggable reading for uni, i'm gonna log it when i can

listening to this because joe thomas is fit but unfortunately can’t see him through and audiobook sadge
