This is my first Rhys Bowen book. I really enjoyed this book, however, for me, the ending was somewhat disconcerting. It seemed to end quickly with everything tied up in the last few pages. One story line is assumed, rather than actually brought out in the story. Even so, I do want to read In Farleigh’s Field because I love WWII books.

I have not been able to start ch.19. Kasia.
I am finding this book so difficult to get through. I've read other books on the concentration camps. The Author has made these characters come alive and as if we were friends. I want finish this book. I will not abandon it. I have to know what happens. I just am finding it difficult to get through the harrowing details. I am in shock over man's inhumanity to man.

This book is difficult for me to read.

This is a good book, an "Inspirational" book, so it doesn't go into gory details, while still telling the story.

I know this is a great book, but for some reason, I am having a difficult time getting into it. I finally got the audio cds and got a little further into it, but still have yet to finish it. I've been very busy and have not been able to give it the time I am sure it deserves. I am determined to finish it. In my experience, some of the hard to get into books have turned out to be the very best books.
