Story Of Your Life - which the film Arrival is based on. Incredibly written, even having seen the film and knowing the 'twist' didn't spoil it.
In fact, it's kind of appropriate given what that twist is!

Division by Zero.

2 stories in. "The Tower of Babylon" feels as epic as the setting it describes. The imagery is spectacular, and more strange revelations about the nature of the universe are revealed as we climb the tower.
"Understand" reminded me straight away of films such as Limitless or Lucy. It asks what if a person could use their brain to its fullest potential - Unlimited intelligence. And then plays out the story to its end.

"...Why take any action at all when you can stay out of it?"

"Choosing to stand by while people kill each other is also an action," she said. "We don't do that here."
