Oh no. I mean, I know there are more books in this series so that helps… and yet this still has me feeling sick with nerves

I feel like something important has been staring at us right in the face and I’ve not figured it out. Hunter hasn’t either though, so I don’t feel too bad.

How is that single god damn sentence the most skin crawly terrifying thing I have read in this book?!

What was in the package?! What was it?! Please don’t be part of the ‘trophy’. Please.

Every time we get a chapter that isn’t one of the MCs focussed, I’m so worried that this person may be the next victim… these aren’t real people and what is happening to them isn’t real but I’m nervous anyway!!!

I’m still so suspicious of Isabella. Also I can’t help but feel like with half the book left, these guys have nothing to go on… and we know who the final victim is (at least of this book) due to the start!!

Should I be suspicious of Isabella? If it wasn’t for the start I’d be suspicious of Garcia. And what the heck was that victims situation?!

Okay so some of the choices of ‘banter’ and words make me uncomfortable - but this case? Gripping. I’m here for it.

I have literally only read the first chapter and what the hell is that for an opening!! Not 100% sure reading this at midnight was my smartest choice…

First date starting off cute. But I swear, if we get a third act break up that’s ’you just wanted to distract me from the proposal’ knowing everything they each know now, I will be beyond pissed. I hate stupid third act break ups.

Amazing how once they actually start communicating, I think they’re adorable together. I love Luke’s family too ❤️

If only Luke used his words, then him protecting Emmy would have been a really good moment for them.

I have to say there was a moment in the office just now that did actually have me giggling. I am glad for it

I think Millie is my favourite character (aside from Saphira and Aiden).

Okay, that moment with Luke saving Emmy, I’m here for that moment. I just need the down time in the book to not be so slow because I do feel like this one could be good! Closer to the first book.

This one has absolutely started off stronger than book 2!

When Lav and Theo are together and they’re not each refusing to communicate with the other I love them. But they’re annoying me and Lav and Calaghan are so cute together that I’m struggling to WANT to see Lav and Theo actually talk to each other. I’m more invested in Theo’s career debate than the potential relationship that’s annoying me.

I won’t lie, I have wanted to DNF this one as I’m pretty bored. But I’m living for all the baby dragon interactions so I can’t DNF

Oh no. This is either going to really piss me off, or if I find the moments they have together to be really sweet I may be able to get past this. But I do have a feeling it’s going to be the first option

I’m not very far into this, but I’m trying the audiobook because I can’t read physical books while lying down (bed rest). However I have a feeling I need to immersive read this so I may have to pause until I can sit up for longer periods

It may have taken me over a week to get here, but I have been loving every minute of this book. I’ve got my fingers crossed for a happy ending

Okay, hear me out, I’m enjoying this… but I received an eARC for a book I’m super excited for so I may have to pivot and switch to that book because all I can think about is that book!!

Okay, unfortunately I really haven’t had the energy to reach much at a time (couple pages here and there) but what I have read has been SO GOOD?! I’m excited for the rest!
