My 2022 reading goal is to read as many non usian authors as possible, unless I know them and trust them already. I especially will strive to stay away from usians "retellings" of European (fairy/folk/myth)tales

I do not want this book to finish.
I also want to know what happens.
And darn it but my first trip to the local Mondadori store as returned no special edition.

Watching Ali as the penny drops re Munthadir and Jamshid.

For reasons I thought my most anticipated book of the year wasn't coming out until August. But eh I am not complaining. I start the audio today and the hard copy should be here soon. See you all in approximately 30 hours

I very rarely pre order books because the delivery gets messed up all the time. Take this book: I pre ordered it and on release day I was told you'll get it in MAY. May? Anyway long story short the provider must have drank a bottle of cop on and delivered the book today. So, see you all in around 550 pages.

Damn you amazing book: I have a ton of stuff to do and cannot focus on reading right now!

I knew this was coming and still I am a mess of tears and undignified snot reading it

This year I will prioritise buying/reading novels from publishers/authors who do not distribute arcs months in advance of release.

There is so much visual art in this novel! I love it in that 'I want to keep reading but also I never want it to end' way....

Bless the bookstore up north who had this on sale yesterday. :)

I believe I am perhaps one of two people left on the whole planet that actually did not get an advanced copy of this novel and that bought it and will read on publication day. Bring it on!

Oi, sometimes people don't like books. Sometimes books are objectively badly written. Go on away out of that with calling readers haters if they don't like the book.
