Goddamn this woman can render the very atoms of of scene, can explore the most minute levels, yet still be concise and under powerful control. The more I read the more I feel she is one of the most underrated writers in the language

Somehow never got around to reading this even in school. Should be a quick one

So far this is one of the most clear and interesting of general philosophy overviews that I have read. I want to fill in the gaps in my western philosophy knowledge and so in selectively picking particular people. Schopenhauer where have you been all my life!

Almost finished but I'm really bored by the penultimate book
