I'm putting this one on pause until it actually come out so I can read it with the audiobook. I saw a post from the author herself that it supposed to be dual-audio. So I really want to get locked in and do immersive reading with this one.

This is liking look my first five star read of the year!

If I have to be in the FMC head since it's in her point of view, please make the FMC tolerable and not make me want to smack her every chance I get for being a half-brain dimwit.

If you read my review of a book and see a list of recommendations at the end of the review, that's my way of saying that the book pissed me off.

Nothing makes a lick of sense and I'm tired of everyone acting like it's nothing. FMC is not questioning a damn thing and going with the flow. Her own mental health is being fucked up in that house and just still continue to stay there when she really have no reason to stay there. She ain't trying to figure out what's going on. She aint trying to get answers from the people in that manor.

I am trying to understand how a very popular ship in a very popular series and fandom that is not even considered canon in the OG IP, gets three very popular fanfics to go from Ao3 to being trad published all in the same year.... Which the publishers are leaning into the fact that they are fanfics from this popular fandom with the marketing around them..
