So this keeps getting better

When you promise your students you will read their favorite book over break, you read their favorite book over break.

Sometimes I let myself have a little procrastination, as a treat.

I am really intrigued by this book HOWEVER the dialogue so far is awful. I hate when an author tries to avoid info dumping in big paragraphs by just having characters do it verbally. No one talks like this.

Dare I say I’m excited about this? Strong start

This is a book you read if you no longer wish to sleep

I'm very bored and uninterested, and while I've loved Stacy Willingham's other books, life is too short to be bored and my TBR is too long. So I will likely be dnfing.

Rachel Gillig’s writing is just so perfect

If something doesn’t happen in the next 10 pages I’m dnfing and blaming TikTok.

Someone find me a romantasy that isn’t stand still boring at the 1/3 mark PLEASE

If this ends up a let down, I’m never trusting BookTok again. However so far the writing is much better than most other hyped books I’ve read this year.

I've got to read this by May 15. Important question: Why do I keep agreeing to book clubs when I know that the moment someone gives me a deadline I will dread reading the book involved?

Even worse-- I picked this one.

Such a strong start

Well I’m hooked which is a little frightening because it’s an 18 book series

I am obsessed.

This has me in an immediate chokehold I can’t wait to keep reading

This is cute but it’s very slow in the middle

Haven’t been interested in a book in months but apparently what I was missing was cowboys

My conflict is that I really want to sit down and read but I can't because of school. And then I get worried because I have a holiday book I really, really, want to read before Christmas.

This book is so good. I feel as if I am being rude to it.
