I amm enjoying it. The book is heavy and the print is small, so I struggle with reading it.

Is this story going any? Why does the protagonist never speak? Who are all these people? They don't seem to build the plot or move it along. What is the plot? Will we ever get the answer to the mystery introduced near the beginning of the book? My library time ran out at this point. I probably won't finish it.

Great story! But my e-book loan is up 12/25 and I had to put it on hold.

This definitely isn't like any of the genres I usually read, and it's my first B. Kingsolver read. It feels like she works too hard putting forth a 10 year old boy's voice. The story is starting to intrigue me. I hope it continues.
